Day τρία / τέσσεραIn collabo with my birthday celebration, we decided to celebrate our advance anniversary date here in Santorini which is about 13 days away from my birthday, what more to combine them together on this amazingly romantic island.
I just had to take some photos with the precious greek rose, I’d be so depressed if it just sit there in the room and do nothing, I brought the rose out to get some sunshine.
Ok now, time to head out to the Red Beach. Our ideal plan for today was to just chill out since it was the last full day here in Santorini and we had to find our souvenoirs for family and friends so it was pretty tough to take pictures at the same time.
Walking towards the Central Square, another day of adventure, was wanting to visit the Red and White Beach since the time I got here so I’m super excited for it.
Still walking aimlessly trying to find the Red Beach….
Red is definately my most fav colour in the entire world, what more to have a beach made up of it.
Unfortunately we couldn’t go to the White Beach because the winds were too strong and there was no boats to bring us there. I gave a really sad face to the person but it didn’t work. Good time to come back for the summer, I’m sure they’ll have fishermen wanting to take you there.
Our selfie with the red volcanic rocks!
I don’t know about you but I’m super amazed by how the door was actually created and placed inside this big rock, it is actually a storage place for the sun decks by the beach.
Great obstacles to deal with a slippery slipper like mine.
Mr A trying his very best to annoy me making his faces in most of the pictures I have together with him.
Someone seemed so focus reading the map of Santorini.
“Take a chill pill hunneh, look at that awesome scenery you’re missing!”
I don’t think I could ever accomplish a lot of things in life without this man by my side. I know most times I am independant and I achieve things by myself with what I wanna do in life, but without his encouragements and his support throughout the years, I don’t think I am who I am today. God has given me a blessing to have him in my life and I hope this relationship is going to take another step further in years to come – be married, have a home, start a family. For now, I just don’t wanna jinx it. But I will forever love you, no matter what come may, and no matter how annoying you can be I’ll try to suck it up and be the best girlfriend you could ever wish for.
Goodbye Red Beach, finally another destination bucketlist to be checked!
What I love most about this place and I think how everyone fell in love with Santorini, is their royal blue doors and windows accompanied with the pure white and interesting architecture walls.
Lunch at Fira Old town, this cafe is super unique and they had specially made us chicken cabonara for lunch with hot chocolate and black coffee. It was windy like crayyy outside and we had to resort to buy a thick hoodie from Fira. Needed some kind of warmth in here and this place was the right place to be and they had free wifi! Woots!
Mr A. really enjoyed his time walking around Fira, eating his gelatos and shopping for souvenoirs. 3 hours of pure shopping and sightseeing! On hiatus!
“No baby, you can’t buy those weird toys unless you wanna get fined for bringing it into customs.” Here’s a picture for his lil brother Daniel. “See what abang got in his hands!”
I wanted to take a picture of this time table for you guys but this man’s hairy hand just wouldn’t budge, I’m sorry, but you can find this at the main bus terminal at Fira for the timings incase you have something to catch. We even checked out the timing for our airport shuttle bus from Fira here, which apparently only takes 10mins to the airport plus it was only 1.80 euros compared to the 30 euros we came here by private van.
This was super impromptu having to take the donkeys when we were on our way back at Oia!
They were at our main entrance hotel walking uphill and the greek man told us that we could take a ride for 10euros 10mins, it was a daylight robbery but who cares! It was so fun!
Photo courtesy of the donkey man who wanted to take all his donkeys back home at the stables. Thank you for giving us a special private donkey tour.
At this point in time, the sun was about to set again here in Oia. We got dressed up for some fun photoshoot sesh of our own.
Panoramic view of Oia’s Castle!
Mr A was already an expert by the 3rd day with the directions in Oia and the other parts of Santorini. Was really proud of him.
Dinner at Skiza restaurant, just a level above our villa. We’ve been passing by here for days and it was finally nice to sit down and eat a good bowl of Spagetthi Bolognese….
All good things has to come to an end, it was the day that we had to leave.
Totally inspired by Muradd Osman for the way he took his pictures with his fiance, Natalia Zakharova on their follow me to destination shoots. I finally managed to do it this time with my charming. Santorini is just too pretty!
Slacking, just don’t wanna leave this villa, it has been an amazing stay! 5 golden stars from the start to the end.
The lovely hotel view of the caldera and its personal swimming pool!
The kind of view you will see from the public bus, heading to Fira town.
This was where you can take the boat rides from to the Red Beach, White Beach and Black Beach. Was such a waste we couldn’t experience this.
It’s just cray cray how big the portion of food is here in Santorini. Look at the donut, it was bigger than the size of my face!
We left with a heavy heart.
Goodbye Santorini, you were amazing.
